4:30pm - Power has been restored, with an exception of a few industrial places that are without power. NV Energy is still on the scene.

DAYTON, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- About 1700 customers will be without power until around 4:00pm in Dayton.

This happened as a result of a car hitting the electrical switch at Lakes and Evan Streets, according to Faye Anderson with NV Energy. The power outage happened around 1:10pm. NV Energy is currently looking at getting power to people through an alternate circuit.

Later today, they will have power out again for about 10 minutes, while they re-route the power back to the original circuit.
