Power restored in Reno, cause under investigation

RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- According to NV Energy, all power has been restored to residents in northwest Reno.

More than 4,000 residents were without power starting around 8:30 p.m. Sunday night -- NV Energy crews worked throughout the night to restore power.

At around 1:30 a.m. Monday morning, about 200 residents were still without power. Power for those residents has also been restored. The cause of the outage is currently under investigation.

Reno, NV (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- More than four thousand Reno residents were without power as of 8:30p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2014.

NV Energy officials say 4,445 customers in northwest Reno are without power. The cause of the outage is under investigation and there is no estimated time of restoration.

News "report" didn't mention huge businesses like WalMart, Safeway, Kohl's- also without power. In nearer NW Reno there was a similar (4 hour) outage about ten days ago-also "equipment failure". Try being late on your bill- U R Cutoff, & they send dumb e-mails with your "estimated usage". Billionaire Warren 'free locals' Buffet owns this monster. This was an outage-where's the Outrage? U sheep
