3:45pm - NV Energy says there are still 400 customers without power as of 12pm, but they are hoping to have power restored to them within the next few minutes.
RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Faye Anderson with NV Energy says there is a power outage affecting 240 customers in the Plumb and South Virginia area, and another outage affecting 5,800 customers in the Spanish Springs area.
The power went out at 8am, came back on at 8:45am and then went back out at 9am in the Plumb and S. Virginia area. It went out around 10:50am in the Spanish Springs area.
NV Energy believes it might have to do with the high winds in the area.
NV Energy crews are on the scene looking for the problem, and it's unknown how long it will take.
