UPDATE:
Power is restored in Reno, according to NV Energy spokesman Calder Chism.
The outage, which lasted less than an hour, was caused by an equipment malfunction at the Glendale substation.
NV Energy is now working to fix the circuits that caused the outage.
RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- 1,300 customers are without power in Reno near the airport, according to NV Energy spokesman Calder Chism.
The outage is also affecting stoplights in the area.
Chism says it's due to an issue at NV Energy's Glendale substation. The exact cause is unknown and Chism says they don't know yet when power will be restored.
