UPDATE- NV Energy says all power is restored as of 12:20.
RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A mylar balloon flew into power lines near McCarran Boulevard and Sky Mountain Circle at 7:45 this morning, causing the power lines to tangle and incite an outage.
Eventually, power was out to 3,400 customers in the area. After NV Energy crews arrived on the scene, power was restored to most customers by 8:15 a.m. after switching to alternate circuits.
There are still 11 customers without power, but NV Energy expects to have it fully restored by 12pm.
