Power restored to Dayton customers after outage

DAYTON, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Power was restored to all Lyon County residents around midnight, according to Faye Anderson with NV Energy.

The cause of the outage was weather related and initially had over 2,000 customers without power.








DAYTON, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The weather is suspected to be the cause of a power outage in Lyon County on Thursday.

According to NV Energy, a suspected lightning strike at around 7:30 p.m. caused over 2,000 customers to be without power in Dayton. There is no estimated time for full restoration, though there are currently under 1,000 people still without power.
