Power restored to South Reno residents

RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- NV Energy reports that power has been restored to all South Reno customers.

RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Windy conditions have left thousands of south Reno residents without power Friday afternoon.

According to NV Energy, the outage happened at approximately 2:18 p.m., and is affecting over 2,500 customers. The system was locked out, due to high winds.

NV Energy did not give an estimated time for the outage to be resolved.
