RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) – The Street Enforcement Team joined forces with multiple agencies this weekend in a prostitution sting in Reno.

15 arrests were made in all in what was a part of "Operation Cross Country".

It was a collaborative FBI initiative that ended today.

Attorneys from the attorney general's office, the gaming control board and victim's advocates were also involved.

A 14 year old juvenile was also recovered in part of the operation.

The sting focused on the Fourth Ftreet area of the downtown corridor, but also included a hotel room operation and an investigation in the Grove and Yori area.

Prostitution is not as noble as feeding kids; it is as real as feeding a drug habit, murderers do not get off because of typos; they get off because we have perverted our justice system and illegal immigrants are here because we invited them (Los Brazos, WWII).

Excuse me, "batd" is what I meant. The libertarianism that says it is okay for men to use women as garbage receptacles is distinctly sick, even sociopathic.

bald, your opinion is truly, truly sick. Do you have ANY clue just what this "career option" is for women? Hey, it's worse going on welfare, right, than selling your body and your dignity for men to exploit. Don't think so.

The biggest lie out there is saying prostitution is a "victimless crime" or it is something that happens between "consenting" adults. Nobody chooses to have sex for pay with hundreds of people a year--it's financial desperation that drives women to it. The vast majority of them start out when they are only 13 or 14 years of age. We as a society need to see it for what it is--a human rights violation. I hope names of the men and the pimps are made public any time there is an arrest.

Well that's good I think. Batd1966 the whole reason why I agree that this was a good job is because half of murders that do happen are from girls who are selling themselves and getting in these strangers cars. So yes I think getting a young 14 year old daughter off the streets is a good thing. I've seen Reno police do alot of raid on drug dealers and wanted people. I think they do need to focus on getting the big and bad but at least they might have saved 15 girls life's.

ok so we waste money screwing with the prostitutes trying to feed their kids and not depend on welfare, and messing with immigrants that do the jobs we refuse or to good to do while we ignore the real problems like murders getting off for their crimes due to a typo in the paperwork.ect ect makes total sence to me that was sarcasm by the way
