RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- A man has been arrested after Reno Police Department police responded to a call concerning an altercation at a trailer park in South Reno.

According to RPD, shortly after 11 p.m. officials went to the 11,000 block of South Virginia street. It was here that a woman reported being hit in the head with the butt of a rifle by a man now hiding in a trailer.

Several officers responded, and shortly after, the 44-year-old man came out of the trailer and was placed under arrest. While the incident is still under investigation, RPD believes this is a case of domestic battery.
