UPDATE - 11:37A - According to our reporter on the scene, as a result of what happened at Spanish Springs High School regarding the sprinkler system, all schools around the district were asked to look around the property for anything suspicious. A back pack in a hallway at Reed was found and didn't have an owner, so this prompted the school to issue a Code Yellow. Students were asked to stay inside the classroom.

The consolidated bomb squad came out and determined it was nothing. A call did go out to parents once the district had enough information and another call went out letting parents know the code yellow was over.

Students are now on lunch and will return to class at noon.
