CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says a Democratic candidate will file to challenge Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval.

Reid says he's sure a respectable candidate will emerge and says he's had a number of conversations with prospective candidates.

He wouldn't reveal details.

Reid's comment came during a wide-ranging interview with reporters Tuesday in Carson City and a day after the Democratic Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak announced he would not run against Sandoval.

On other topics, the senate majority leader says he believes Congress will approve raising the minimum wage and that problems with the federal health care roll-out have largely been fixed.

That have not fixed the health care boondoggle, we don't want your son as governor no matter how much money you throw at it and we do not need to increase min, wage, that will just increase prices. We need to vote your idiot behind out of office!
