RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The new Reno City Council will hold a workshop meeting tomorrow to talk about financing for the Aces baseball stadium.
The owners of the team want to restructure their financing deal with city, and tomorrow will be the first chance for the new council to get up to speed on the issue and listen to public comment.
Tomorrow's meeting is open to the public and will get underway at 2:00 at the Reno City Council chambers.
Mayor Bob Cashell told us today he'd like to see a lot of people there. This is a big issue, and he says the city needs to find a way to keep the stadium deal intact and keep the team here in Reno.
The baseball stadium financing will appear as an official agenda item at the council's Dec. 5 meeting.
