RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Reno Firefighters rescued three dogs from a fire on the 400 block of Marsh Avenue around 2pm.

Reno Fire Department say the fire was caused by a bag of dog food left on the stove, and that most likely, one of the dogs knocked the knob to the electric stovetop burner.

The three dogs from the home were transported to Klaich Animal Hospital. One was taken in for immediate surgery and the other two were admitted for treatment and observation.
