Reno Police Looking for AM/PM Robbery Suspects

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Reno Police are investigating the link between two robberies at the same AM/PM store location that took place on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

On Tuesday morning at 12:38 a.m. Reno Police were called to the AM/PM store at 6190 South Virginia St. that had been robbed by a lone suspect. The suspect entered the store and pointed a dark colored handgun at the clerk. He stole an undisclosed amount of money and then fled east from the business. Police say the suspect was wearing a mask at the time of the robbery as well as sunglasses.

Police describe the suspect as a Caucasian male, 5'8" to 5'10", medium build, wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt.

On Wednesday at 11:47 p.m. police responded to the same AM/PM store on South Virginia St. Upon arrival, they learned the business had just been robbed by a lone suspect. Police were told that the suspect entered the store and pointed a dark colored handgun at the clerk. The male suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money and then fled north from the business. The suspect was wearing a mask at the time of the robbery as well as sunglasses.

Police describe the suspect as a male, 5'8" to 5'10", tall, thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white liner, blue jeans and black and white shoes.

Reno Police is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect(s) involved in these crimes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Reno Police Department at 334-2115 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) wanted in connection with the armed robbery.
