RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Reno Police want to know if a Missouri man who faces charges in the killing of a girl in North Las Vegas decades ago is linked to the 1990 kidnapping and murder of a Reno girl.
Sixty-two-year-old Jasper Everett Goddard was arrested in Ozark, Missouri last month during a routine traffic stop. Police discovered he was a registered sex offender and wanted by police in Las Vegas on a felony warrant in the 1986 death of April Rhodes. Now, Reno Police say there are similarities to the death of seven-year-old Monica DaSilva. Monica was taken from her bed on Idlewood Drive, and three weeks later, her remains were found in a remote canyon in Storey County.
