Reno-Sparks Indian Colony hosts nationally-acclaimed Numaga Powwow

RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony is hosting its nationally-acclaimed Numaga Powwow this holiday weekend.

This free, family-friendly event runs through Sunday and features some of the best Native American dancers, singers, and drummers in the country.

There will be over 25 vendors selling traditional native foods and stunning handcrafted silverwork, beadwork, baskets, and other Native American art.

The event takes place in Hungry Valley in scenic Eagle Canyon.
