RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The Reno-Tahoe International Airport is embarking on a summer-long project to reconstruct pavement areas.

The first part of the program will begin between March 26 and March 28 and will include demolition of concrete overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily. Demolition will take place north of the terminal building and south of the air cargo building.

Officials say there will be noise and vibration from heavy equipment, but passengers and flights should not be impacted.
