RENO, Nev. (AP) — Police have arrested a 41-year-old arson suspect arson after they say he tried to start a fire inside a 7-Eleven just southeast of downtown Reno.

Police say Randy Ybarra was loitering inside the convenience store on South Wells when he was asked to leave about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The clerk says he responded by grabbing a bottle of lighter fluid, dousing the area behind the counter and trying to light a fire with napkins and a lighter. He's being held in the Washoe County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
