Reno makes National Geographic Top 10 List

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & -- The internationally recognized magazine National Geographic named Reno a top 10 emerging ski town in North America.

The recognition is landing Reno business some national attention.

National Geographic highlights the biggest Little City's prime location with 18 ski resorts within 100 miles.

The article mentions Reno is "reinventing itself as a hip, outdoorsy city of university students, artists, and yes skiers."

Then, the article lists some hot spots as recommendations for visiting skiers.

Not enough NV ski shuttles or trains. CA actually actually works at this. Greedy rental car and airport fees are a detraction. Don't try to see the mountains as U land/leave RNO, ugly parking garage blocks the view.
