RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Balwinder Singh, an alleged terror suspect out of Reno, was arraigned for the second time on Wednesday. He plead not guilty to all federal charges against him.

Singh was arrested in December, and originally plead not guilty on multiple charges including conspiracy to murder, kidnap and maim persons in a foreign country.

On Wednesday, Singh plead not guilty on all charges against him, including an added charge of illegal possession of a firearm. Singh’s court date is set for February 2, 2016.

Through a Punjabi interpreter, Singh said on record that his name is Balwinder, despite other alias' he had been using.

Singh also informed Judge Valerie Cook that he has no formal education, and did not know his exact date of birth, just that he was born in 1975.

According to the indictment, Singh was a citizen of India who fled to the U.S. and claimed asylum. Authorities are not sure when the conspiracy began, but believe it was no later than November 30, 1997.

The indictment also alleges that Singh is a member of two terrorist organizations, Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF), whose members aim to establish an independent Sikh state in part of the Punjab region of India known as Khalistan. The groups allegedly engage in bombings, kidnapping and murders in India to intimidate the Indian government to create an independent Sikh state in India.

If convicted, Singh faces up to life in prison and fines up to $250,000 on each count.
