Reno restaurant speaks out about toy drive drama

Kenzie, You are posting that same stuff in many places, do you reject any notion that your management where you are a waitress actually may have misled this young man, and you are being fed nonsense, or just don't wan't to believe it? The story Marie tells is not credible, they did the wrong thing, and now they are covering up and actuallt lying it seems.

i will NEVER dine at that restaurant. they are criminals who gave away something that never belonged to them. and in my eyes and the eyes of the law, that is stealing. they should pay up for what they gave away and be investigated just as any other criminal case is.

I have never dined there and don't think I ever will. I bet Lili's employes wont need to spend much money on Christmas this year will they!

So they (lili's) are saying they never thought to stop and ask who the toys belonged to before just giving them out?? Yeah?! Or better yet, they didnt question a big barrel showing up in their restaraunt?? This argument is so illogical it's ridiculous! Does this woman think we are all idiots?? I will never dine there again, I am so disgusted by their actions. But I am glad the community has come together to support this program.

There are two sides to every story. Perhaps, it was poor planning on Marcus Woods' part. If he can't organize a simple agreement, maybe he shouldn't be organizing anything at all. Now, he has led a misconstrued perception of Lili's. I'd like to see a written agreement between Woods and the owner of Lili's. If he cannot provide one, who is to say that spoken word is a credible agreement for it can be easily misinterpreted. Lili's is still providing the toys, "claimed" by Marcus Woods to other credible organizations. Woods claimed to have dropped off fliers at Lili's. This being said, Lili's allows its customers who own other businesses in the community to leave business cards and fliers for their respective places of business and organizations at the register area. This helps link locals. Point being is that anyone can leave anything. Woods' has passed the blame of his own faltering mistake to a local business who is just trying to survive like so many others. Please help clarify the misunderstanding. Happy Holidays!
