RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The neighborhood gave the popular gourmet burrito and tacos fast food chain Chipotle Mexican Grill a warm welcome to the neighborhood. Chipotle officially opened its doors on Thursday and customers showed up in full force to get a taste of the fresh cuisine.

News 4 spoke with Chipotle in Reno's General Manager Brian Herrmann and he says he has 35 employees. Herrmann also says customers can expect the same service they relieved at every other Chipotle they've visited, if the line his long, they're not doing their jobs right.

For customers they say the popular chain is a long time coming. Many customers gave a thumbs up on opening day and say they are ecstatic the chain is finally here.

Chipotle is located on the corner of McCarran and Kietzke and is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Interesting, crashbang, because it's against Federal law to discriminate against anyone over the age of 40 in hiring practices. Maybe you should tell your relative to contact the EEOC!

Too bad they are age-biased when it comes to hiring. My sister who is extremely qualified, has supervised in a restaurant setting and was an excellent server, is a very hard worker and a lot of fun to be around, was DENIED a job there...more than likely because she is too old...your loss! Just sick about it...nice way to welcome her to Reno from beautiful sunny California! You suck!

Yo! Nv4, Y not put Where "the neighborhood" is at the Top of the story? Chipotle is one of a growing number of franchise firms to specify humanely-raised pork products. Doubt if we'll see any Tofu at their NV location. it is offered in Rancho Cordova, along with some fresh margaritas.
