RENO, Nev. (AP) — A 52-year-old Reno woman has died from injuries she suffered when she was hit by a car in Lemmon Valley earlier this week.

Washoe County sheriff's deputies say Lesa Fisher was walking south on the edge of Lemmon Drive near Surge Street about 6 p.m. Monday when she was struck by a car headed in the same direction.

She was taken to a Reno hospital with severe head trauma and died there Wednesday morning.

Deputies say the driver of the Chevy Cobalt is cooperating with investigators and that neither speed no alcohol appears to have played a role in the accident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Deputy Dave Bailey at 775-328-3350.

Kramer, seriously? A little respect for someones' loss of a family member, Mother, Wife, Sister?? Let's all be a little more cautious, aware, and caring of others. Especially others who are forced to get around without their 2ton protective shields...??

This headline, as it scrolls under the newscast, appears ungrammatical and semi- illiterate
