CARSON CITY, Nev. (Mynews4.com & KRNV) - Carson City Sheriff's Office says they have recovered an unusually large amount of stolen items valued at upwards of $300,000. The items range from baseball cards to jewelry to paintings.
A viewing is being held for those looking to recover their stolen property. According to law enforcement agents, they recovered more than $30,000 in Bev Doolittle paintings. Detective David LeGross says they arrested Jeira Palanco and Timothy Sparacinio in December 2012. According to LeGross, the couple was arrested for parole violations but a Parole Officer discovered an apartment full of stolen property. The couple is now being charged with possession of stolen property.
Another viewing will be held on Tuesday from 8:00am to 4:30pm at Carson City Sheriff's Office. You will only be allowed to view the stolen property if you have a current case number.
