UPDATE: 3PM - Reno Police say the robbery happened around 9:25 this morning. The suspect, 22-year-old Desmond Hayes, was found hiding in an enclosed patio on Brinkby Avenue.
Police say the firearm used in the robbery as well as an undetermined amount of money was located with the suspect.
After further investigation, the suspect was linked to the armed robbery of the Walgreen’s, located at 3495 S. Virginia Street, which occurred on Dec. 30, 2012.
He was charged with two counts of Armed robbery, ex-felon possession of a firearm, Possession of a short barreled shotgun, and two counts of burglary.
UPDATE: 12PM - Reno Police say the suspect is now in custody. He surrendered peacefully. Reno Police will release more information regarding the suspect later today.

Reno police tell News 4 a there was a robbery by an armed man around nine Thursday morning at the Red Hut Café near Moana and Lakeside St.
Police followed the man to a nearby apartment where he has apparently hid himself somewhere inside the complex on the corner of Lymberry & Brinkby.
The man was armed with a shot gun when he robbed the café, but police are not sure if he is still armed.
