LAS VEGAS (AP) — Longtime Republican consultant Sig Rogich has sued a Las Vegas attorney and his wife over a stake in a limousine and shuttle bus operation.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports lawyer James Jimmerson and his wife, Carol, are named in Rogich's lawsuit filed Thursday in Clark County District Court.
Rogich, a former adviser to Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, claims he was retained by Jacob Transportation Services LLC eight years ago when the operation was getting started.
The public relations and political operative says part of the compensation was 5 percent ownership in Jacob plus an option to acquire 5 percent more.
During subsequent years, his complaint alleges discussions concerning his promised stake repeatedly took place but never closed.
James Jimmerson calls the allegations "improper and false."
