RENO, Nev. (AP) — Reno's McQueen High School marching band has announced plans for a book fair next month to help raise money for its second trip in six years to the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, Calif.

Band members will host the Holiday Book Fair on Dec. 11 at Barnes and Noble in Reno.

The daylong event will include gift wrapping by the band's color guard and a live performance by the jazz band.

School officials estimate it will cost more than $120,000 to make the trip to the Rose Bowl and perform in the nationally-televised parade on New Year's Day. The band also marched in the parade in 2009.

This year marks the event's 125th anniversary.
