RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- The Reno-Tahoe International Airport is getting an upgrade that may catch your attention.

Crews will be demolishing areas of the North-South runway for pavement reconstruction starting this week. Nearby residents can expect to see and hear the heavy equipment between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The work should run through the end of the month. Nneighbors, passengers and flights are not expected to be impacted.
