RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Russian criminals have stolen 1.2 billion internet usernames and passwords.

According to security firm Hold Security, computer crooks took user data from more than 420,000 small and large websites. Experts say they will use the information to send out spam emails for fake products.

Always make sure to not click on suspicious links, and take a second look at your emails before opening them.
