SPD identifies suspects in Sparks shooting

SPARKS, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Officials have identified two suspects in an incident involving shots fired on the 400th block of 9th Street July 21.

James Bowman and Larissa Faddis have been found as persons of interest in this case, according to a press release sent by Sparks Police Department. Neither Bowman nor Faddis have been located.

SPD is asking those with information about the case, or the whereabouts of Bowman or Faddis, to contact Secret Witness at 329-4900 or Sparks Police Department Detectives at 353-2225.

RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Sparks Police Department responded to shots fired on the 400th block of D and 9th street Monday afternoon.

According to SPD, neighbors heard two gunshots and came outside to see a motorcycle in the middle of the road around 1 p.m. Neighbors then witnessed a a pick-up truck speed away, and what they believe was the rider of the motorcycle running the opposite direction.

Two 9mm casings were found in the middle the street next to the bike. SPD has identified the registered owner of the motorcycle, but is still looking for the two suspects involved in this incident. Police found shell casings, but no bullets holes.

This incident is still under investigation, according to PIO Rocky Triplett.
