(KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Governor Brian Sandoval this morning signed Executive Order 2012-16 ordering the flags of the United States and the State of Nevada to be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol and all State public buildings and grounds until sunset on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, in honor of 2004 Hug High graduate Jonathan Blunk and all the victims of the tragic shooting in Aurora, Co.
“Among those killed in Friday’s tragic shooting was Jonathan Blunk, a father of two, a Navy veteran and a Nevada native,” Governor Sandoval said. “Jonathan Blunk acted heroically in life and in death, serving his country in the armed forces and protecting others during the shooting. It is fitting that Blunk’s memory and heroism should be honored in this way, as should the memories of all the victims of this tragedy.”
