RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Film Reno Tahoe, a division of the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, announced today that the musical group Savvy is set to record a television pilot for a new television show in Reno, Sparks and North Lake Tahoe later this year.
Signing with Cash Money Records in 2011, Savvy first started performing as a group in 2004. Since then, Savvy has performed more than 400 concerts, created 14 music videos and has starred in two seasons of “The Wannabes” television series, which airs on Starz Channel in the United States and HBO Family in more than 100 countries worldwide.
Savvy is currently in the process of recording a new music video in the Celebrity Showroom at John Ascuaga’s Nugget, and will continue to use locations throughout Reno Tahoe during the shoot of its new pilot.
Savvy is based in Texas and visited Renoearlier this year while scouting for a series location with Film Reno Tahoe.
