UPDATE--1:05 p.m.

Nevada Highway Patrol Troopers at the scene have told News 4 that both the car and the school bus are out of service. The accident was caused by a Mercedes failing to yield to the Washoe County School Bus. The male driver of the Mercedes then hit the median wall before hitting the side of the school bus. The car is currently being towed and the only damage to the school bus is the axle. It's unknown if the driver was cited but the on-ramp is no longer closed to traffic.
UPDATE--12:40 p.m.

According to Troopers at the scene, the accident was the result of a passenger vehicle trying to merge into one lane with the bus, onto I-80 westbound. The vehicle got between the school bus and the median wall and both vehicles side-swiped each other. The bus does not look like it has major damage, but the front of the passenger vehicle sustained major damage. Both drivers were not injured.

Update Update: it's Keystone Avenue, not "Rd. NV4 pls. slow key-strokes and "fact check' for accuracy. && the "median" isn't the 'wall', it is the center of a divided roadway; NHP just slangerizing the situation. All those highway improvements yet on and off-ramps are a joke, as are many maniac Reno drivers!!
