RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Around 4:30 this afternoon, Reno Police say a Washoe County School District bus hit a pedestrian at Wrondel and Gentry Way.
The driver of the bus was preparing to turn West on Gentry from Wrondel after stopping at the stop sign. As the driver was turning, a pedestrian stepped off the curb and the bus hit her arm and stopped.
The pedestrian was checked by REMSA but was not transported after declining medical attention.
The bus had a single eight-year-old passenger that was unhurt.
The driver was cited on scene by police.
