STATELINE, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue has been activated to assist in an area search for missing 19 year old, Alyssa Byrne.

Bryne was attending the Snow Globe event in South Lake Tahoe, Ca on New Years Eve. Alyssa Byrne, from Petaluma, Ca, is 5 foot 3 inches tall and 125 pounds. She has black hair and blue eyes, last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black yoga type pants, black snow boots and her hair was pulled back.

Friends that she was staying with last saw her in the Horizon Casino at a bar between 12:30 and 1:00 am on 01-01-13.

Deputies say the investigation into Bryne's whereabouts are continuing, and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in developing any suspects or leads.

A reward of up to $1000.00 is available for information leading to the location of Alyssa Byrne. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call Secret Witness at: 775-78-CRIME (775-782-7463); or DCSO Investigations Division at: 775-782-9905.
