WASHOE COUNTY, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a crash on Interstate 80 eastbound near Derby Dam.
According to NHP, a semi truck and car were traveling eastbound on I-80 when they collided just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday night. The driver of the car was an 18-year-old female from Fernley, and she was treated for minor injuries. The driver of the semi was a 35-year-old male from Portland, Oregon, and he was not injured.
The eastbound lanes of I-80 after the Derby Dam exit were at a complete standstill for about 30 minutes while the crash was cleaned up.
