PENSACOLA, Fla. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Wild weather continued towards the East Coast with less tornadoes, but more flooding.

Tornadoes touched down in North Carolina on Tuesday. A funnel cloud caused minor damage in Stedman, just south of Raleigh. Torrential rains flooded streets in Wilson, North Carolina, and several cars were trapped and submerged.

The western Florida panhandle was also overwhelmed by floods. Doppler radar estimated up to 12 inches of rain fell near Pensacola.
