CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - News 4 is learning more information on the Wednesday night stabbing in Carson City. The stabbing appears to be drug related.

The stabbing victim, who was originally believed to be 17, is in fact 18-year-old Aaron Leval. Leval suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Sheriff Ken Furlong tells News 4 the stabbing suspect is a 17-year-old juvenile from Douglas County. The teen was taken into custody and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

The Sheriff say there are seven other people involved in the incident and the District Attorney will decide if they will face any charges.
