Reno, NV-- The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is investigating an early-morning shooting in Hidden Valley that has left a young man gravely injured.
Authorities were called to the corner of Hidden Valley Drive and Hidden Highlands Drive shortly after 3:45am on reports of shots fired. There, they found the 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital with a serious injury. Earlier, investigators mistakenly reported that the young man had died, but later corrected that information.
Investigators say they have questioned people who were with the victim, as well as neighbors in the area. As of early Thursday afternoon, they say it appears that no one else was involved in the shooting, but the investigation is continuing.
