Sheriff's Rescue Team Members Save Husband and Wife Kayakers Reported Missing

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office RAVEN Helicopter Unit, Search and Rescue and HASTY Team members are being credited with saving the lives of two missing kayakers at the Stampede Reservoir in Truckee, California late Monday night.

It's awesome that the different Departments work so well together for the best possible outcome. Haven't seen as much cooperation with the Fire Dept's in the Reno area,but they appear to be working on it. Up here,all the different Agencies work very well together,because we're so far from bigger Cities-with limited resources,the best possible outcome for those in need becomes the ONLY consideration;all else can be worked out later.

Hopefully they will be OK. This is a perfect example of why you must wear a drysuit during cold water/weather months.
