(KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- We have new information on a story News 4 brought you back in September. Two local businesses were facing eviction because of unsuccessful lease negotiations but now the building has a new owner and,Sierra Tap House and Java Jungle are staying right where they are.
"We got a nice long-term lease and we're excited to continue to do business," said Matt Polley, owner of Java Jungle and Jungle Vino. "Java Jungle has been here for 23 years and it was going to be really sad to go, and now we don't have to do that."
Zachary Cage, co-owner of Sierra Tap House, tells News 4 they were also able to reach an agreement and will stay in the building on West First Street.
Polley said this whole ordeal has shown them just how much their customers care.
"I'm really proud and honored that folks really came out and supported Java Jungle, Jungle Vino and Sierra Tap House," he said.
Polley said the new owner of the building is Siegel Group Nevada - a real estate developer based out of Las Vegas - and there are some upgrades and renovations planned for the building.
