Silver Springs man held without bail after alleged shooting in Fernley

FERNLEY, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The Lyon County Sheriff's Office says it is investigating a shooting that happened Tuesday afternoon in Fernley.

The shooting occurred around 4:15 p.m. in the 3900-block of Highway 95A.

The reporting party told police he was being shot at and was running away from the suspect. When deputies arrived in the area, they located several people near the residence.

Upon investigating, Lyon County officials discovered 56-year-old Silver Springs resident Cleve Clayton Clark, Jr. allegedly fired several rounds into the residence after a dispute with a family member.

No injuries were reported.

Clark was booked into Lyon County Jail on a charge of attempted homicide. He is being held without bail.
