RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- We've been getting a lot of phone calls and questions on our Facebook page about the hazy skies.

Westerly winds are blowing the smoke across the Truckee Meadows.

The haze is from the Panther Fire burning about 30 miles east of Chico. According to Cal Fire, the blaze has scorched close to 6,400 acres.

The skies should clear more by tomorrow morning after the winds turn from the west.
