NORDEN, Calif. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- KCRA is reporting that a snowboarder who set off an avalanche at Donner Ski Ranch has been found dead.
KCRA says crews are still searching for others who might be caught in the snow.
Officials haven't released the victim's identity yet, but say he's a man in his 50's from Truckee.
KCRA reports the avalanche was set off about 9:30 a.m. on the left side of the mountain, between chairs 1 and 6, according to the operations director.
