Some offices closed Jan. 21 for MLK Day

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Most Washoe County offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 21, due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

The following will be closed on those days:

•Administrative offices at the Washoe County Complex on Ninth Street in Reno
•Washoe County Senior Services facilities
•All Washoe County libraries will be closed Monday, Jan. 21. The following libraries will also be closed Tuesday, Jan. 22: Duncan/Traner, Incline Village, North Valleys, Northwest, Senior Center, Sierra View, South Valleys, and Sparks. Please go to www.washoecountylibrary.us to place a hold, renew a checkout, download eBooks, research databases and more.
•The Washoe County District Court
•The Washoe County District Attorney's Office

The following will be open:

•The Washoe County Sheriff's Office reception/front desk
•Pursuant to state law, the recently relocated office of the County Clerk (now at the Washoe County Complex at Ninth Street & Wells Avenue) will remain open throughout the holiday from 8 a.m. to midnight for the issuance of marriage licenses.

Operation of the Rink on the River is weather and ice condition dependent. Please make sure to call the Rink on the River Hotline at 775-334-6268 prior to visiting the rink to ensure that it is open and operating.
