SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) --South Lake Tahoe Police were called this afternoon to El Dorado Savings Bank after a report of a bank robbery.
It was reported to officers that an unidentified white male adult entered the bank at 3443 Lake Tahoe Blvd. around 2 p.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding money. No weapon was seen. After the undisclosed amount of money was handed to him, he fled the scene on foot.
The suspect was described as a white male adult in his mid-20's, slight to average build with scruffy facial hair and a black patch of hair on his left cheek similar to a mole. The suspect was wearing blue pants, a black jacket with leather sleeves similar to a letterman's jacket. He had a black hoodie and snow goggles and carrying a Safeway reusable shopping bag.
The suspect is on video walking down Bal Bijou Road just prior to the robbery according to police. He was last seen fleeing the scene behind CVS Pharmacy on foot.
