South Lake Tahoe delays ban on plastic bag ordinance

RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- According to SouthTahoeNOW.com. the second phase of South Lake Tahoe's plastic bag ban ordinance will be be delayed after a 3 to 2 vote at Tuesday's City Council meeting.

In January, a ban on single-use bags was implemented for all grocery stores and food vendors in the city limits--that has not changed. The second phase was going to expand the ban to retail stores starting on October 15th of 2014; which has been delayed.
