SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & mynews4.com) - Although the intersection of Sparks Blvd. and Greg St. was set to close to traffic tomorrow for five months due to construction on the SE Connector, RTC has now decided that there will now open one lane in each direction.
According to Michael Moreno with the RTC, the project team met with several businesses in the area and after receiving additional input, developed a new plan to construct improvements while maintaining one-lane in each direction on Greg St. and Sparks Blvd.
This operation will increase the traffic control duration, but will provide access to Greg St. from Sparks Blvd.
“The decision was made to modify our schedule to accommodate complete access to businesses,” said Garth Oksol, PE, Project Manager.
“We will continue to reach out to businesses and the community throughout the project”
