SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Sparks Police have arrested two for petty larceny and conspiracy.
Scheels loss prevention agents saw a man peering into windows of vehicles in the Scheels parking lot, then watched him take a new child's toy from the back of an open pick up truck. In addition, a woman was reported to have taken clothing from Scheels.
Sparks Police say they located the suspect vehicle in the parking lot and identified the suspects as Bradley Glewwe, a 33-year-old Reno resident, and Dawn Quigley, a 29-year-old Reno resident. After initially lying about his identity, Glewwe's true identity was found out by officers, and upon further investigation, found warrants out for his arrest. Scheels loss prevention agents also identified him as the suspect who had removed the toy from the back of the truck.
Quigley was positively identified as the suspect who had stolen the clothing. Both were taken into custody.
Quigley was charged with possession of stolen property, conspiracy, possession of a hypodermic device, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail is $4,500.
Glewwe was charged with the above crimes, along with the warrants and several traffic related charges. His bail is in excess of $6,000.
Sparks Police say the owner of the toy has been located, and efforts are being made to return the property to its rightful owner.
