SPARKS, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Sparks Police have told News 4 an armed robbery occurred at 400 N. McCarran Blvd. at the Wells Fargo Bank at 11:45 a.m.

A white male adult approached a teller with a note advising he was armed and was robbing the bank. The teller gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash and the suspect fled the bank through the north doors.  The suspect is described as a white male, 5'6"-5'10" in height, with a medium build wearing a dark-colored long sleeve shirt, light blue jeans, and a light colored baseball style cap. A weapon was not seen.

A search of the area came up negative and the suspect is still outstanding.  The Sparks Police Detective Division is working with the FBI and the case is still under investigation.

Apparently the individual is also suspected of robbing the Coach store at Legends. One Legends employee claims they were warned to look out for him.

The FBI is now taking over the investigation.

While I feel bad for the people working at the bank, this is pennies compared to the money and homes that the banks have stolen from the American public. When I start to see banksters go to jail for their crimes I'll care about some guy making off with a few thousand.
